About our Director – Duncan Hodgson:
Duncan set up Silver Bullet because he thought the training industry needed to be shaken up. He was fed up with seeing training done in the same way time after time and not making use of improvements in technology and in the understanding of human psychology.
His vision is to lead a truly 21st century training organisation where people that are undertaking a new task (or one they want to improve in) can schedule onto an online course to learn it within just a few hours.
Duncan has over 10 years of experience in delivering training, strategy and change programmes for multiple public and private sector organisations which has enabled him to lead the development of a suite of courses that cover all of the fundamental aspects of working effectively in business. This experience includes:
- First Class Honours Degree in International Business from Warwick university
- Consultant at Capgemini for c.4 years where he delivered projects for government departments and industry leading organisations involving communications, training, business change, workshop facilitation (with 50+ attendees), test management and business modelling.
- 1.5 years as a business process improvement specialist at EDF Energy where he delivered operational efficiencies in the company’s Energy Branch.
- 1 year developing the strategy and business operating model for the leadership team of a new division within EDF Energy. He also designed a process model to support the strategy and performance measures to enable the leadership team to track its delivery.
- 1 year at EDF as a Change Lead where he managed a team responsible for overseeing a multi-million pound IT change programme. He also designed and delivered a new change process involving a new governance model, reporting systems and end user training.
- 3 years as business director designing and delivering a training and business change programme to roll out a new assessment framework to c.10,000 youth justice professionals.
